Processing and Publication Contribution

Middle East Journal of Language Literature and Translation makes all articles and related content available for free on the journal's website. As such, the journal requires a processing and publication contribution by the authors, or on their behalf by their institution or funding body upon the acceptance of one research paper as follows: (NET PAYMENT). The processing contribution below applies to articles of no longer than 7000 words. In case the submission exceeds this limit, extra fees are added.

Publication processing fees

• Authors residing or working in low-to-middle income countries, with no more than two authors per article, are subject to a fee of USD 300.
• Authors residing or working in higher income countries, with no more than two authors per article, are subject to a fee of USD 500.
• Authors exceeding the word limit (4000-7000) will incur a charge of USD 50 for the first 1000 words and an additional USD 80 for the subsequent 1000 words. Submissions must not exceed 9000 words.
• Book reviews, unless specifically requested by the Editor-in-Chief, are subject to a processing and publication fee of USD 120.
• Notes, Discussions, and Scoping Reviews are subject to a processing and publication fee of USD 200. Any deviation from the word limit requires prior approval from the Editor-in-Chief, potentially resulting in adjustments to processing and publication fees.

Methods of payment

• Western Union. Authors will be notified of the contact information of the recipient upon manuscript acceptance.
• Cheque in JD drawn on a bank in JORDAN.
